What I've noticed is brands/models that have no cotton in them stay more comfortable when it's hot or cold. They dry quick too. Yes they are more expensive but I'd rather have 7 pair of these than 21 pairs of regular cotton boxers. I find myself doing laundry more often just so I can put these on.
ExOfficio Boxers fit really nice. I wear 36 pants and use xl underwear because I hate tight undies. These feel like I'm not even wearing them. Non-restrictive, no pinching, binding or bunching. No wedging either. I like them a lot. Colors are subjective, but I'm a guy and after 6 months wouldn't notice the difference of pretty much any colored underwear. But I like the colors on these so it's a bonus out of the box.
The only nit I can think of - these are like all the other underwear I have except one regarding the elastic waist. When I bend over to put my socks on (before pants on) my gut folds the elastic over and I have to reset the band or look pretty silly. The only underwear I've found this doesn't happen with is the 511 brand underwear. I need to change my routine because most of my pants are now ExOfficio and putting my socks on last is much easier than with jeans or dockers. Old dog, new trick.
I'll be buying more of these
